How To Use DoorJammer
DoorJammer and DoorJammer Lockdown are go-anywhere, no-hassle door barricades that don't need a fitting tool or any door modification.
Installation is quick and easy - just slide DoorJammer firmly under and against the door below where the handle is or would be.
Next, just turn the screw clockwise until firm - no need to overtighten - and installation is complete.
To remove, loosen the screw and pull the handle up and away. DoorJammer's quick-release function is even easier - simply pull the handle up and away.
How To Use DoorJammer
Step 1:
Position DoorJammer under the door, directly below the door handle or where the handle would be.
Step 2:
Adjust the foot by turning the screw clockwise until DoorJammer is tightly fitted.
Step 3:
Test the door to make sure the DoorJammer is securely positioned.
How To Use Lockdown
Step 1:
Position Lockdown under the door, directly below the door handle or where the handle would be.
Step 2:
Adjust the foot by turning the screw clockwise until Lockdown is tightly fitted.
Step 3:
Test the door to make sure the Lockdown is securely positioned.
Installation Instructions
Step 1
Position the flange of the DoorJammer or Lockdown under the door, directly below the door handle or where the handle would be.
Step 2
Adjust the foot by turning the screw clockwise until the DoorJammer or Lockdown is tightly fitted.
Step 3
Test the door by pulling it firmly to make sure the DoorJammer or Lockdown is securely positioned.
There must be at least 3mm / 1/4" gap between bottom of the door and the floor.
Our DoorJammer products only work on inward-opening doors.
DoorJammer and Lockdown cannot be used on doors with weather seals or protective strips.
Removal Instructions
Step 1
Twist the screw anticlockwise until the foot becomes loose.
Step 2
Tilt and pull the DoorJammer or Lockdown upward and away from the door.
Emergency Release
In case of emergency, pull DoorJammer or Lockdown upward in a swift motion to remove it from under the door.
